The Arapaho Road Baptist Church Student Ministry in Garland, Texas exists to reach non-believing students, connect them with other Christians, to help them grow in their faith, and to challenge the growing to discover their ministry, and honor God with their life.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE
Cafe opens at 6:00 p.m. PETRA Student Worship begins at 6:30 p.m. Stay until 9:00 p.m. and join us on the Volleyball and Basketball Courts.
(No student worship July 28 due to VBS.)
Cost is $2.50 for snack & drink!

SUNDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE
5:00 - 6:00 p.m. - PETRA Movement (Video & Drama) (Student Building)
(August 15 - No activities due to D-Now weekend)
August 8 - Turner's Home  6:30 - 8:30 p.m. - Sunday Night After Church (SNAC)
Maps are in the Student Building.
Bring your swim suit, towel, sunblock, and a snack to share.

CFT (Crazy, Fun Time) - July 30
CFT (Crazy, Fun Time) is coming Friday, July 30 at 6:00 p.m. Bring $5 for pizza. We will be watching a movie, so feel free to bring pillows, blankets, etc. to get comfortable. Sign up in the Student Building.

ON THE BORDER GIVE BACK DAY - August 2
Support the ARBC Student Ministry by dining at On the Border, Firewheel location, on July 12 and 10% of your food and beverage purchases will  be donated to the ARBC Student Ministry. Be sure to bring this flyer!

DISCIPLE NOW BANQUET - August 12
The D-Now Banquet is Thursday, August 12, at 7:00 p.m. in the gym. Dress up as your favorite superhero. See details below for registration deadlines.

DISCIPLE NOW (D-NOW) - August 12-15—For Grades 6-12
D-Now is an exciting, fun-filled weekend hosted as a  local retreat held in the homes of our church members. Students will spend the weekend being challenged by guest leaders in the word of God.  There will be times of studying, praying, laughing, and worshipping together.  Students are expected to give themselves completely to the weekend.  “All You Need is Love” is the theme for this year’s D-Now. Registration Deadlines: $55 After July 14; $65 After July 28; $5.00 discount for students in the same family after the first child.

SECRET CHICKS
The Secret Chicks Program is about to begin for all middle and high school girls!  Questionnaires can be downloaded here or picked up in the Student Building and must be turned in by August 22.   Your Secret Chick name will be mailed to you that week.  This is a commitment to encourage your Secret Chick with one thoughtful gift ($10.00 limit) and card per month.   This will let her know she is in your thoughts and prayers.  Your first gift should be given September 5.  In December, we will have a Secret Chick Revealing. All questions regarding the Secret Chick Program can be directed to Rynae Calder (972-496-3980).

MURDER MYSTERY DINNER THEATER - August 28
You and your friends will NOT want to miss this event! The Murder Mystery Dinner Theater is on Saturday, August 28 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The Mystery Theater will feature adult and student actors. Dinner will be prepared by a professional chef. Invite your friends and guess "who-done-it???"...More details to come.

STUDENT WORKER KICK-OFF LUNCHEON— Sunday, August 29—12:30 p.m.
Student Workers and their families are invited to join us at Siciliano's: A Taste of Italy to discuss the Fall Student Calendar. Please let Marilee or Chris Turner know if you will NOT be attending. Maps are in the Student Building.

LABOR DAY FAMILY PICNIC—Sunday, September 5
The Student Ministry invites students and their families to join us at Stone Park in Sachse from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Pick up lunch and join us for a time of fun and fellowship.  Students can bring their swimsuits and swim at the Woodbridge Splash and Play Pool. Maps are in the Student Building.
