How to Handle Your Worry
"Don't worry about anything..." Philippians 4:6 (TLB)

Part 1 - WHAT CAUSES WORRY?

TRUTH:  You are not as worried about the past as you are about the future?

Three levels of Worriers:
Level 1 - Worry some of the time
Level 2 - Worry all of the time
Level 3 - Professional Worriers

Worry doesn't work for us, it works on us!

Matthew 8:23-24:  "Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping."

  1. The Storm:  Unexpected problems
  2. The Waves:  Overwhelming circumstances
  3. The Boat: Inadequate resources
  4. Jesus was sleeping:  I'm all alone.

Worry grows out of a suspicion that nobody cares.
