Our mission at ARBC is to make disciples through ministry,
worship, discipleship, outreach, and community. One of
the ways we are trying to accomplish this mission is to
provide mission trip opportunities for adults and students.
There is no greater way to grow in your own relationship to
Christ than to reach out to others and share Christ with them.
In addition to Texas Baptist Men opportunities that come up as
the need arises and ongoing Garland community mission
projects, we are offered the following international
opportunity in the summer of 2008:
BARAHONA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
MISSION TRIP
July 11th - 19th, 2008

A Thank You from Pastor Franklin in Barahona...
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,
because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a
shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is
plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the
harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest
field.” Matthew 9:36-38
We are so thankful for 44 people we had to help Pastor Franklin reach the “crowds” in Barahona,
Dominican Republic for Christ. Thank you for your prayers.

The ARBC summer missions work is in full force and we are
now planning the Back-to-School supplies drive for the ROC
(Re-creation Outreach Center) Summer Health Fair & Missions.
Please plan to help by shopping for supplies that will be so
helpful to many needy children in the Garland area. We will be
providing 175 shopping bags and supply lists to the Youth and
Adult Bible Fellowships beginning June 29th. Contact Dan
Wikander or the church office if you have any questions.
Please return the bags to the church office by Sunday,
August 3rd.
Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord’s service.
