ARBC Ladies' Ministry
The ladies of ARBC are moms, grandmothers,
singles, married, widowed, stay-at-home moms, career women,
retired, and everything in between. We are a sisterhood
working together to serve and grow in Christ as we put into
practice Titus 2:3-5. “Likewise, tell the women to be
reverent in behavior, not to be slanderers or slaves to drink;
they are to teach what is good, so that they may encourage the
young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to
be self-controlled, chaste, good managers of their household,
kind being submissive to their husbands, so that the word of
God may not be discredited.”
Don’t be surprised when you see our ladies
wear tiaras! Remember the daughter of a king is a princess and
as Christians, we are daughters of the King of Kings! “I
will be a Father to you, and you will be my...daughters, says
the Lord Almighty.”
2 Corinthians 6:18
Ladies spend time in God’s word during Sunday
morning Adult Bible Fellowship classes and other weekly Bible
study classes. Bonds of friendship develop as they share
together insights from His Word. A variety of classes are
available; for details go to the Adult
Bible Fellowships page.
Friendships are strengthened and hearts are
changed throughout the year at our Friday night conferences,
Sunday afternoon teas, monthly Ladies’ Night Out events, craft
nights and overnight retreats. Over 100 of our ladies attend
the Women of Faith conference in Dallas every year and return
energized. There are always many opportunities for fellowship;
to see details on the latest calendar of events, please check
weekly bulletins and the ARBC
monthly newsletter.
Ladies support each other and our community by
participating in the Susan G Komen walk as the ARBC WINGS
(Walking In God’s Service) team. We enjoy the celebrations
with survivors, encourage those on the journey and remember
those we have lost. For details on how you can join and/or
support ARBC WINGS, please contact Gina Burrage at
.
Through our M&M Mentoring program, ladies
develop relationships, grow in Christ, help others, encourage
each other and remain faithful to what God created us to be.
All stages of life are welcome in this ministry from college
age to seasoned saints. Ladies spend time one-on-one and at
special M&M gatherings throughout the year. For questions
about our mentoring ministry, please contact Karan Wright at
.
Our ladies support ARBC in several areas of
missions—collecting food, blankets,
clothing, and school supplies for the ROC, teaching ESL
classes, creating gifts, preparing crafts and going on the
annual ARBC mission trip to the Dominican Republic, supporting
New Hope Transition House with household and personal items,
helping with Angel trees at Christmas, crocheting hats for
newborns in the hospital, and crocheting prayer shawls for
those in need in hospitals and assisted living homes—just to
name a few.
We would love to have you join us !!!
