Parents of Children
Birth - 5th Grade
Our goal at Arapaho Road Baptist Church is to provide a
safe, fun-filled place where children can learn about Jesus and play.

Children are a beautiful gift from God. Our purpose of
ministry is to supply each child a loving, caring place to meet their
spiritual needs with a variety of activities in which they can
participate. There are many ways parents can help throughout the week or
during special events.
Share your talents by serving:

Care for babies in the nursery.

Teach or be an assistant teacher in Arapaho Road Kids Classes for ages 2 years – 5th grades.

Greet members and guests at the Children’s welcome
centers.

Be a group leader this summer during JAMPAC!
-
VBS - Supervise or lend a helping hand during craft
time; create and build stage scenery, be a group leader or help with
recreation.

CAMP LEADERS - Drive kids to and from camp.
Matthew 9:37: “The harvest is plentiful but the workers
are few.”
Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should
go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
All workers are required to fill out a background check
form.
New Believer's Class
The Children’s Ministry is committed to helping each child learn
about God’s love and know Jesus as his/her personal savior. Children who
have questions about accepting Christ or would like to be assured of
his/her decision, may attend the New Believer’s class which is taught on
Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.
Parent Commitment/Child Dedication
Parent Commitment/Child Dedication is a time to introduce a child to
the church family and have a time of commitment and dedication to the
Lord. By doing this, we are honoring God’s plan and purpose to work
together in raising a child to know God through prayer and teaching so
he/she can grow in his/her personal relationship to God, learn to serve
others, as well as share his/her faith. This special commitment can be
held during any of the morning worship services.
