
ARK Kindergarten Graduation will be on
Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m. in the Worship Center. Cake reception
will follow the ceremony.
Open enrollment for Kindergarten Parents who would like
information on our kindergarten classes may pick up a brochure and set
an appointment with the director to have your child assessed for

ARK Kindergarten is a ministry of Arapaho Road Baptist Church created
by God to teach children the intellectual skills and spiritual
precepts needed to lead successful lives. Kindergarten will
provide students with quality education in a loving, caring, God
centered atmosphere.
School Schedule
Kindergarten is a four-days a week program. School days are
Tuesday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. School days and holidays correspond with the Garland Independent School District
calendar.
Tuition
Tuition
may be paid over a ten-month payment period, by semesters, or by the
year. The tuition payments are due on the 1st of the month.
The first tuition payment is due on August 1.
Admission Procedure
Each child will be given an assessment to determine eligibility. the
parent will be consulted regarding admission status.
Registration
After acceptance there is a nonrefundable registration fee, an
application form, and a tuition agreement form to be completed.
Registration is on a first-come basis. When a class is full,
enrollment will close. A certified copy of the student's birth
certificate and a copy of up-to-date immunization records are
required before the first day of class.
Materials Fee
There is a fee paid each year in July for workbooks, textbooks and
manipulative supplies. This does not include basic school supplies.
The teacher will have a school supply list to be purchased for the
first day of class.
Curriculum
ARK Kindergarten offers a balanced, comprehensive, sequential
curriculum that teaches and reinforces the academic skills that are
the foundation for higher learning. Subjects taught are language
arts, reading, math, science, social studies, Spanish, music and
movement, and spiritual activities which include Bible stories,
verses, songs, prayer and chapel.
