All 7th & 8th Grade Students Welcome!

Trek is the a 24-7 Ministries club designed for boys and girls in 7th and 8th grade and meets from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. on Sundays beginning in the Family Life Center 27-4 Ministries equips and challenges junior-high students with a thorough Bible curriculum. Students learn to follow Christ in their daily lives through memory verses, in-depth Bible study, application, relevant stories, missions, service projects, and character lessons.  From mature Christians to unchurched nonbelievers, seventh and eighth graders have a wide range of spiritual, emotional, social and physical needs.  One approach cannot fit them all - this is why, we offer Trek.

Trek is divided into three different events:

  1. Featured Event - Fun games and activities attract believers and nonbelievers alike to make them feel comfortable and at home.

  2. Large Group - This time communicates a single Bible truth that will spiritually challenge the teen in his/her spiritual journey.

  3. Small Group - Teens are organized into small groups according to their spiritual needs and work through their individual manual.

Seventh and eighth graders who complete both Trek years will have recited approximately 334 verses, been exposed to the gospel on a weekly basis, studied real-life topics like dating, honesty, peer pressure and temptation from a relevant Bible perspective, and been trained to serve and follow Christ through the struggles of daily teen life.

While Trek retains some elements of the clubs, its materials, terminology, and methodology are specifically geared to 7th and 8th graders.

Trek 24-7 Ministries concludes at 6:30 p.m. each Sunday evening. They are not eligible to work in younger Awana clubs.
