Recognition of Achievement
The children are recognized for
their achievements in working through their
handbooks. Awards, which are worn on the
uniform, are presented weekly for finishing portions
of each handbook. Awards are also presented
quarterly for Sunday school and Awana club
attendance. Handbooks are designed so the
average child can finish a book in a single club
year.
Major Awana Awards
These awards are given out in a
ceremony at the end of the Awana year. Each shows
consistent, diligent work over the course of the
year. Encourage your child to work steadily, it will
bring rewards -- and not just trophies!
First Handbook
Ribbons are awarded in all clubs for the
completion of the first handbook.
Second Handbook
Sparks receive a larger ribbon for the
completion of two consecutive handbooks.
Sparky Award
All Sparks who complete all three Sparks
handbooks receive a plaque plus a pin to wear on
their uniform. This pin may also be worn on their
uniform when they graduate to the next Awana Club.

Awana! Awarded to graduating seniors (or

12th grade Awana handbooks/manuals.
Children receive "Awana shares" for
various reasons: attendance, wearing uniform,
sections completed, etc. The Awana store is
located in the back hallway of the Worship Center
Building--across from the nursery and is open from
4:30pm-5:00pm each Sunday evening. Clubbers may
use their Awana shares to purchase things from the
Awana store. |
