 We love
visitors at Arapaho Road Baptist Church and we want your first
visit with us to be enjoyable! Come see how we do life
together at ARBC!
Every church has its own personality and the best way to
discover ours is to attend a worship service or a small group
Bible study. Greeters at our Welcome Centers will be happy
to help you find a small group that meets your needs or answer
any questions you may have about our church.
Worship
Our Senior Pastor, Bill Ashburn, preaches the same sermon on
Sunday mornings at the 8:15, 9:30, and 10:45 services. His sermons are taught from the Bible and are relevant to
living a daily Christian life. Click
here to listen
to his sermons.
We describe our 8:15 and 10:45 services as the "Blended
Worship Services" because they are a blend of traditional and
contemporary Christian music with drama and video sometimes used
as visuals. Our 9:30 Contemporary Service begins with
contemporary Christian praise music with a band and is held in
the gym.
Children are welcome in our services, but we do offer nursery
care for children under 4 years of age for the 8:15, 9:30 and
10:45 services. Classes for all other children are at 9:30
and 10:45 a.m.
Instruction
As Christians, our instruction comes from the Bible.
So, we meet together in small groups to study God's Word and
learn how to live a Christian life. Whether you are a baby
or a senior adult, a Bible Fellowship is available for
you. Please review this website for the many
Bible Fellowship
options that are available for every age group at 9:30
and 10:45 each Sunday morning.
Fellowship
We believe that the Christian life is fun and enjoyable.
Our small groups offer an opportunity to fellowship outside of
the class as well as during the class. We also plan times
during the year where the whole family can fellowship such as the
Fall Festival, Talent Shows,
or Easter Egg Hunt.
Reaching out to others
At Arapaho Road Baptist Church we are always seeking new ways
to reach out to our community. Throughout the year we help
with the ROC ministries
that provide school supplies, food, Christmas gifts, and ESL
instruction; offer
Upward
basketball, soccer and cheerleading to the community children;
participate in local, state, and world
mission projects; and
various other activities that reach out to the community around
us.
How can you join this growing fellowship?
The four ways that Arapaho Road Baptist Church receives people
into their membership are:
- By profession of faith in Jesus Christ as personal Lord
and Savior and as a candidate for
baptism.
- As a Christian from another denomination and a candidate
for baptism.
- By letter from another Baptist church.
- By statement if you are a former Baptist or were baptized
by immersion.
At the conclusion of each worship service, an opportunity is
provided for people to join the church in one of these four
ways. If you have questions that you would like to discuss with
one of our staff members, please call the church office at
972-495-2223. Directions
