During the school
year, on Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:00, we offer a Bible Club for children two
years through high school. The goal of Awana (Approved Workman Are Not
Ashamed) is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to
serve Him. Each meeting consists of games, Bible memory verses, singing,
and handbook time. Awards are given for scripture memorization and
handbook progress.
Game Time: Every Awana club meeting
includes a high-energy Game Time featuring individual and team competition.
Handbook Time: During this time,
children learn to memorize and understand key Bible verses.
Council Time: The whole club
gathers to sing and hear an age appropriate Bible message. One highlight
of Council Time is the presentation of awards for individual progress and team
competition.
