Kindergarten
ARK Kindergarten is enrolling new students for fall 2008. Parents who would like
information on our Kindergarten Classes may pick up a brochure and set an
appointment to have their child assessed for Kindergarten. Our classes offer a
balanced, comprehensive, sequential curriculum that teaches and reinforces the
academic skills that are the foundation for higher learning in a Christian
atmosphere. Subjects taught are reading, writing, spelling, math, history,
science, Spanish, music, physical education, and Bible.

ARK Registration for September 2008. If you are interested in coming by the
school for a tour and to see what availability we have open for the fall please
contact Debbie Nohrenberg in the Children’s Building.
Classes offered in the fall starting in September, 2008:
One-Year-Old Class (must be one as of September 1, 2007).
Two-Year-Old Class
Three-Year-Old Class
Pre-K Class (for children who will start Kindergarten in 2009).
NEW Tuition Prices: Mother’s Day Out/Preschool Tuesday/Thursday Program will be
$140.00 per month. Registration fee of $75.00 will be due at time of enrollment.
Rainbow of Reading, Wednesday Program will be $75.00 per month. Registration fee
of $35.00 will be due at time of enrollment.
ARK Graduations
ARK Preschool Graduation will be on Thursday, May 29th, 7:00 p.m., in the
Worship Center. Reception will follow in the Family Life Center Gym.
ARK Kindergarten Graduation will be Wednesday, June 4th, 7:00 p.m., in the
Worship Center. Reception will follow in the Family Life Center Gym.
ARK(Actively Reaching Kids) Preschool & Mother's Day Out, Rainbow of
Reading, and ARBC Christian Academy's Kindergarten are an extension of our
church created to teach children the intellectual skills and spiritual
precepts needed to lead successful lives.
Because we care deeply for each child, we
have elected to be a "peanut free" school.
We are honored and thankful to teach the children that
God has blessed us this year.

Our
Preschool/Mother’s Day Out program is known as ARK,
Actively Reaching Kids, and is for children one year
through four years of age. We offer a well-rounded
Christian program where a child can grow at his/her
own developmental level.

ARBC Christian Academy
Kindergarten
2007-2008
ARBC Christian Academy's Kindergarten is a ministry of Arapaho Road Baptist Church created
by God to teach children the intellectual skills and spiritual
precepts needed to lead successful lives. Kindergarten will
provide students with quality education in a loving, caring, God
centered atmosphere.
School Schedule
Kindergarten is a four-days a week program. School days are
Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The first day of
school is August 27, 2007. The last day is June 4, 2008.
School days and holidays correspond with the Garland Independent School District.
Tuition
Tuition for the 2007-2008 school year is $2850.00. Tuition
may be paid over a ten-month payment period, by semesters, or by the
year. The tuition payments are due on the 1st of the month.
The first tuition payment is due on August 1, 2007.
Admission Procedure
Each child will be interviewed by the director and given an assessment
to determine eligibility. The parent will be consulted regarding
admission status.
Registration
After acceptance there is a nonrefundable $100.00 registration fee and
a tuition agreement form to be completed. Registration is on a
first-come basis. When a class is full, enrollment will close.
A certified copy of the student's birth certificate and a copy of
up-to-date immunization records are required before the first day of
classes.
Materials Fee
This is a $200.00 fee paid each year in July for the use of workbooks,
textbooks, and manipulatives. This does not include basic school
supplies. The teacher will have a school supply list to be
purchased for the first day of class.
Curriculum
ARK Kindergarten offers a balanced, comprehensive, sequential
curriculum that teaches and reinforces the academic skills that are
the foundation for higher learning. Subjects taught are language
arts, reading, math, science, social studies, Spanish, music and
movement, and spiritual activities which include Chapel, Bible stories,
verses, songs, and prayer. A Rainbow of
Reading 2007-2008
A Wednesday preschool enrichment program to develop
essential early literacy skills and a love for reading.
The curriculum includes language and cognitive
development, fine motor, gross motor, perception, social
skills, math, science and dramatic play. The children will
visit our church library, and check out a book to take
home and share with you at home each week.
Monthly tuition for “A Rainbow of Reading” is
$75.00. A one-time registration fee of $35.00 is due
when you enroll your child.
